With a commitment to "Made in Kagoshima" products, one of our inspirations was the volcanic ash bestowed by Sakurajima, a symbol of the region. This series was perfected after years of trial and error, adjusting the amount of ash added and the firing temperature. The individual color variations are due to the position in the kiln and the chemical reactions of the glaze. Finding your favorite texture among them is one of the joys, but this glaze also offers attractive changes over time. The more you use it in your daily life, the more character it develops, becoming a unique "tool of your own."
