About
Based on ONE KILN’s cups, we’ve collaborated with Mie Kitahara, a perfumer at the fragrance brand le as, to create these 100% soy wax scented candles. Soy wax, derived from soybeans, produces minimal soot and releases few harmful substances, making it safe to use indoors. Furthermore, we use only natural essential oils extracted from plants, allowing you to enjoy the pure scent of nature. The candles feature a wood wick. When lit, the gentle crackling sound of the wood fills the air, and the soft glow and fragrance create a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. Please select your cup size and choose from the following two scents.
■ Fore‘t – relax
Bergamot, Grapefruit, Ravintsara, Fir Needle, Lavender, Neroli, Camphor, Cedar, Koya Pine, Oakmoss
A scent that evokes the calm of standing in a deep forest, combined with a crisp, refreshing freshness. It soothes the mind as if you were taking a forest bath, promoting relaxation and refreshment, and is recommended for moments when you want to unwind and find peace.
■ Laule’a – refresh
Bergamot, Rose, Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender, Camphor, Frankincense, Patchouli
A fragrance that refreshes both mind and body and fosters a positive outlook. It helps release pent-up emotions and brings a gentle sense of happiness.
■ Important Notice Regarding the Candle Cups
This product uses non-standard cups—those with slight warping, unevenness, or small marks that occurred during firing—to “give them a new lease on life.” These items give a new purpose as candles to vessels that would otherwise have reached the end of their useful life.
You may notice slight warping, fine marks from the firing process, small bumps or dots on the surface, or uneven glaze; however, none of these issues will lead to cracks or breakage, and there are no safety concerns. We select only cups that meet our quality standards for use.
*Please note that the color of the cup’s interior varies randomly. Due to the nature of our upcycling project, we repurpose finished cups on a case-by-case basis, so you cannot select the interior color. We appreciate your understanding.
■ Precautions for Use
・If the flame burns too strongly, the wooden wick will turn black and char.
・When the flame becomes smaller, gently scrape away the charred portion and trim the wick to the proper length.
・If the wick is too long, gently heat the blackened part over a flame to melt it and shorten it.
・If the wick is cut too short, it will be difficult to light.
・Lighting the candle with the wick tilted will cause uneven burning.
・Placing the candle in a drafty area, such as near an air conditioner, will cause the flame to flicker and may result in wax leakage.
・Please exercise extreme caution when handling fire.
・Never leave the candle burning unattended or go out while it is lit.
